Pastor Allen is a native of Natchitoches, Louisiana. He moved to Little Rock, AR in 2004 and currently resides in Maumelle, AR. He is a graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Pastor Allen worked in the insurance industry more than 12 years in accounting and also as a licensed life/health insurance producer/agent. In 2008, he begin working as a professional recruiter in the accounting/finance areas for a national recruiting firm earning several awards as top recruiter of the firm. After a several years, he decided to pursue the entrepreneurial route and started his own firm, Quality Recruiting Solutions, LLC, where he serves as co-owner and senior recruiter.
From birth, he grew up as a member of Lee Street COGIC and as a young man worked diligently as a junior deacon, praise team member, armor bearer, youth leader, and administrator. Upon his move to Little Rock, he became a member of New Calvary COGIC under the leadership of Bishop D. L. Lindsey. While there, he worked as Youth Sunday School teacher, Youth/YAM Coordinator & Minister, Armor bearer/Adjutant to Bishop Lindsey, and organized New Calvary’s first Men’s Conference.
Pastor Allen officially accepted the call to minister in 2008, and was licensed and ordained in 2009 by Bishop Lindsey. In 2012, he followed leadership and assisted in the founding of The Worship Center mission, served as the Chief Administrator for four years, and on December 4, 2016, he was appointed Pastor of The Worship Center by Bishop Frank J. Anderson. He is also the organizer and co-chair of the Bishop Lindsey Spirit of Excellence Scholarship, which has awarded over $20,000 to deserving COGIC students throughout the state of Arkansas. Currently, he serves as treasurer of the Arkansas 2nd Jurisdiction General Council of Pastors & Elders. In 2017, he received the national appointment as Special Assistant assigned to the Episcopal Advisor of COGIC National Adjutancy. In 2021, he was appointed by Bishop J. Sheard as Vice President of Business Affairs for COGIC Urban Initiatives.
Pastor Allen has been happily married, to his high school sweetheart, Dr. Carla Allen, since 2004 and they are the proud and loving parents of two beautiful sons, Caleb Roque and Caden Rachal Allen.
